New York Mets Recent Update

Well the mets are still fighting for that #1 spot while they are in third place with Florida. The mets have been playing hard for now because they just came from last place to third place and hopefully with some more wins and good ball playing they will be in first again. The standings that these teams have are very close in first we have Atlanta with 31 wins and 22 losses, then we have the Philles with 28 wins and 24 losses, then we have the Mets and Florida in the third spot with 27 wins and 27 losses, and in last place we have Washington with 26 wins and 28 losses. As we can see these teams are all close to each other but the mets still need to win at least 5 more games with no losses so they can be on top as they were a few days ago. Yesterday the mets gave a win to the padres in the 11th inning by a grand slam by Adrian Gonzalez. During the whole game the mets were up 1 to 0 by at the 9th inning the padres got hot a scored a run and tied the game 1 to 1. Then finally at the 11th inning the game finished with a grand slam by the padres first baseman Adrian Gonzalez. Well today 6/3/10 the mets go against the marlins for 3 games so hopefully with good pitching and god hitting the mets can beat florida and move up to the top again.

New York Mets Update..

Today the mets have a record of 19 wins and 22 losses. The mets have gone from second place to fifth place in the National League. In the National League at first is the Philles with 24 wins and 15 losses, in second are the marlins with 22 wins and 19 losses, in third are the Nationals with 21 wins with 20 losses, coming fourth are the Braves with 20 wins and 20 losses, and finnaly the mets with 19 wins and 22 losses. The New york mets need to win some game because as we see these teams aren't that far from the mets and the mets have a chance to score more wins and get to the top This has been an upset for met fans like me because in the beginning the mets were on top and something is pulling them away from getting back up there. The mets line up has changed again, the mets have moved Jose Reyes from the third batter to the First batter again. The mets need to put there head back into the game and get some more wins so they can get to the top just like they were. Another important news that the mets team had was that Jerry Manuel might be on the edge of being fired. If Jerry Manuel gets fired this might be a change to the mets team because Jerry Manuel hasn't been doing a good job. Some thing that the mets have to do to win more games is that they need to be more aggressive and get more hits. Not only that but the mets need to score more runs with runners one base because mets have let a lot of runners on base and they didn't score. If the mets score more runner with those men on base they had the opportunity to win those games. Another good news for us mets fans is that the mets have recently been in the subway series with the yankees and then METS won 2 of those 3 games.

Mets 2010

The New York Mets 2010 season is going good for right now. The mets have new player that have put the mets on top and on point. These players such as Jason Bay, Ike Davis, Rod Barajas, Jeff Francouer, Henry Blanco, Gary Matthews JR, and more. These players have put up a lot of effort for the mets and this is why we are on top. These changes of players have been a good change for the Mets because last year the mets were one of the worst teams in major league because the mets had too many injured player and this mad them sink to the bottom. Some things that the mets can do to make there team better is to play all together as one team and get more hits and score more runs with runners on base. These changes has showed us mets fans that the mets are good and that they have a chance to make it to the world series. The mets 2010 line up and roster has changed a lot. The mets 2010 line up looks a little like this first at bat the have Angel Pagan, Luis Castillo, Jose Reyes, Jason Bay, David Wright, Ike Davis, Jeff Francouer, Rod Barajas, and then the pitcher's spot. This line up has took the mets to the top of the list and make them win a lot of game's. Hopefully this year with this line up and this new team the mets might not have a bad record as they had last year. Today mets record is 18 wins and 17 losses hope fully the mets will win more game's and pull up those numbers. At home the mets have been playing good because there record at home is 14 wins.
